I grabbed the 1 lb. package since I go through a lot of this for poultices, and the powder is genuinely fine and easy to work with. Mixes down smoothly without clumping up on me.

The 4 oz. powder is ground consistently fine with no big chunks, so it mixes evenly into my poultices. Dried smell is strong and earthy, which is exactly what I want in a bulk herb.

The 4 oz. powder is finely milled and mixes down easily in warm water, no gritty clumps at all. I've been using it for poultices and a little goes a long way, so the small size should last me a while.
